Operation Joining Forces and Oxford County Mental Health Services |
||
On April 12, First Lady Michelle Obama profiled Operation Joining Forces, in which she called upon all of us to do what we can to support the family members here at home of military members serving overseas.
Oxford County Mental Health Services (OCMHS) is proud to be part of this program by making its telepresence equipment available to military family members on a 24/7 basis so they connect with their loved ones overseas. Given the time zones that may be involved, it has to be 24/7. OCMHS can offer military family members a private setting so they can use either our Skype or our CISCO Ūmi telepresence equipment to stay in touch with their sons or daughters, brothers or sisters or their parents serving anywhere in the world. This free service is available at both our Rumford or South Paris offices. All you need is the Skype email account or Ūmi number and we’ll give you the privacy you need so you can be there with your loved ones. If OCMHS can help you reach out to your loved ones overseas, call us at 364-3549 Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and ask for Ron McHugh. During all other times, you can call 364-3030, a counselor is there to help you 24/7.
