Most of our volunteers spend their time at the Beacon House. It is an incredible community environment where everyone is supported by each other.

Our Clinical Interns support us in the field with our crisis unit and outpatient therapy. This requires a more lengthy appliciton period, but if you are in school working toward an advanced degree in the fields of social work, counseling, or medicine, please reach out to us.

It takes a united community voice to enact long-term change at the policy level. Whether you just want to add your voice to existing campaigns, or you want to organize around particular legislation, give us a call and we will find a way for you to help us fight stimga and imporove services for our nieghbors living with mental health disorders.

Oxford County Mental Health Services is a private non-profit charitable 501(c)3 organization, funded in part by membership dues, the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, and tax-deductible contributions.
